Diary inscribed on flyleaf: "Diary June 12, 1916-- To-- Age: 17 years Height: 5 ft. 6 in. Weight: 129 lbs. The book is the diary of Helen Wright of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, beginning Monday, June 12, 1916 and ending around Labor Day of the same year. At end are pasted in: report cards 1912-1917, programs for commencements, class plays, Camp Fire girls, greeting cards, newspaper clippings (especially Edgar Guest) and other momentos. Last pages are a list of the Camp Fire girls in her group, and 2 pages of her own accounts from June to October. Laid in are an essay "The Social Center", notes for the diary, and a letter to Mildred, June 26, 1916 from camp. Many of the Edgar Guest clippings are copyright 1922-1925. Also laid in is a letter dated November 17, 1954 to Helen from Coila [?] replying to the letter Helen had sent with a copy of her diary entry about the wedding of Coila and Charles Dinger.
